Over the past two decades, HCC Aegis has assembled a team of dedicated professionals whose expertise in the metal hermetic package industry is exceptional. Combined with a world class manufacturing facility, our engineering expertise ranges from standard packages to the most sophisticated metal matrix composite microelectronic packages being used in the industry today. HCC Aegis has a customer base which spans military, medical, commercial, telecommunications and space, all using a wide variety of package types and the latest in technology.

In addition to traditional materials and constructions, new package designs can include new materials such as aluminum silicon carbide (AlSiC) bases and housings. Ceramic feedthrus offer interconnect alternatives to glass. No longer concepts, these materials are produced in high volume today. Aegis has also introduced a patented, high performance, surface mount power package product line with the best heat dissipation properties available today, which is now a qualified standard JEDEC outline.
