SEALTRON EXTENDS EN2997 QUALIFICATIONS TO ADDITIONAL CONNECTORS

CINCINNATI, OH, September 19, 2008—Sealtron, Inc, a unit of AMETEK HCC Industries, has received additional approval that extends the product qualification on its EN2997 line to include EN2997Y1, EN2997Y0 and EN2997Y7. All three items are classified to Class Y, making them suitable for operations from -65º Celsius to + 200º Celsius. This supplements Sealtron’s qualification in 2007 for EN2997YE1, EN2997YE0 and EN2997YE7.

This important extension to Sealtron’s aircraft engine connector capability complements its previous MIL-DTL-83723 and ESC10 and ESC11 qualifications and further enhances its reputation as a leader in electrical connectors for high-reliability applications. Sealtron manufactures a full range of qualified hermetically sealed receptacles in shell sizes 8 thru 28.
